Cire Trudon’s series of wax busts is the result of a collaboration with the French National Museum Council to bring historical figures to life and invites us to reflect on different times and start a critical discussion. This bust is a replica of Marie-Antoinette, archduchess of Austria and queen of France who, according to Kirsten Dunst, who played her in Sofia Coppola’s historical drama, never uttered the words “Let them eat cake”.
