ABOUT VISPRING - SINCE 1901
It all began with love when British engineer James Marshall crafted a supportive mattress with coiled springs for his ill wife in Canada. In 1901, his innovative design made its way to Britain, leading to the founding of the Marshall Sanitary Mattress Company. By 1911, Vispring secured major orders for their mattresses aboard luxury ocean liners like the Titanic and Olympic and has since continuously innovated, incorporating natural materials and bespoke craftsmanship into each handmade bed.
Today, recognized with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2012, Vispring remains dedicated to providing the ultimate sleeping experience while honouring its rich heritage of luxury and quality in Britain.
